red rushing rapids

my body like hades in my fantasies

a fountain, a monument to my existence

scarlet core

crystalline structures,

hardened, still,

covering the parts i want to see,

and you don't. and i don't.

my heart pushes it out, drop by drop

its beating finally showing me i'm alive for certain

fractured, broken, torn,

but still there,

as long as the river flows.
